Need Nokia BB5 unlock assistance

I have an e71 I need help unlocking. I know in the past BB5 phones could only be unlocked using a cable, but I do see videos of people using unlock codes with the e71, but I don’t want to pay one of those shady unlock services, so what’s the cheapest(or free) option in order to unlock this thing. Or if someone has the software, that would be great. Thanks!
