89 Nissan Exa N13
I don't know how my real wife would feel about me dating your fictional daughter... 😎
Yes I noticed! Very good condition too. One thing I do like about these cars is they're reliable as anything as well! Still running smoothly, just the usual maintenance and replacement of a few perished hoses.
It's a custom kit from a place in Sydney which does kits for older Japanese cars. A couple of people have commented it's similar to a Jetspeed kit that was produced for the Exa.

Kits are done in fibreglass and are a tight fit against the existing body.
I'm heading over to the US next month. I figure my chances of finding one are greater over there. If I get one I will ship it back.
It's a bit prettier with the kit, respray and wheels, but always loved these cars for how 80's and quirky they are. If you find a SportBak I don't think there's any other car which doubles as a 2 door Targa top station wagon 🤣
I'm hoping to open up a barbers shop with my mate who has the Toyota MRS.
This is the CA18DE block. Not sure if we got the smaller block over here? Everyone I've talked to remembers theirs with the 18.

As the other commenter mentioned it's pretty much the NX with the steering wheel on the opposite side.
It was in fairly good condition when I got it. The only stuff I've done internally is replace the carpets, use a fabric dye to tint the seats closer to black, replaced the steering wheel, shift knob and boot, then aftermarket double din stereo and upgraded speakers.
Still a couple of small things to do internally but looks pretty mint for a 34 year old car.
