What are Pentium 4 (Era) Machines Good For?
Post Body

I am not asking to stir anything up, rather I have a few old P4 and comparable machines lying around and would like to know if any remarkable software works best with them.

I’ve heard 386 or slower is best for certain very old games, 486 or Pentium I-III for most DOS stuff depending on goals, then there seems to be a gap. As far as I know, everything a P4 can do an early Core series can do better.

Am I missing anything here?
