This is me doing a binaural recording to demonstrate the shrill quality I was always referring to that sounds fine even "clearer" at first but ends up being grating to the point it sounds too loud or too quiet all the time while the 3001SEs being the first to feature the sealed uniq array sounds smooth and somehow more holographic while comfortable at high volumes. They both manage to be 100 watts and get just asoud.

Both binaural so use headphones please. Not dissing either just stating an observation
