I'm sorry, but every time someone complains about the self hating posts, I just get so confused.

When it comes to the way society treats woc, it would make sense as to why women would internalize it. When you hear something over and over, you're likely to believe it. I think it makes sense because it's a space to talk about physical self improvement, so these issues would eventually come up.

I kind of liked posts like these because it felt like a bit of a comforting safe-space (only me?). I felt less alone.

I never really hear black women talk about these issues publicly.

No one is immune to feeling down about the circumstances you're subjected to...

Perhaps this really isn't the sub for that, so I wish someone created one.

Anyways, this sub is very helpful, regardless.

Those were just my thoughts...
