Thread for the previously dysmorphic girlies! Hopefully a positive read for any younger lurkers.
Me? Always been wads too poor for surgery. And I wanted it all. Buccal fat removal, cheekbone implants and nose jobs being by far the frequently most considered. Well of course now my face has thinned out, I swear to god my chubby NOSE has thinned, especially after introducing tretinoin. I've also accepted that round sanpaku eyes like mine don't tend to be held up by sharp cheekbones, and implants would have taken away some of the doe-eyed charm of my face. Basically, had no idea about facial harmony and I would have absolutely botched myself silly.
I got totally wrapped by Insagram and thought cute but natural looking ski slope noses make everyone look prettier. Only in the last couple of years have I really appreciated that some of the greatest beauties have strong noses that blend with their features. My nose is straight, symmetrical, not overly bulbous and I sometimes daydreamed about smashing it up with a hammer. WTF.
Also, thank you mum for not letting me do sperm brows in the 00s 🙏
