Hey there, I've been playing for a while and usually solo things except for the occasional party battle for an elder boss. I've been wondering about something that I've still not figured out from just playing and watching how other people play. When you're in a party battle, and the loot drops is there some etiquette that says which player gets the loot?

I've seen situations where the game itself won't let me pick up loot dropped from another player's kill, and other situations where it did. I've seen party battles (and been in them) where one or two players seem to pick up all the loot but can't tell if that was arrange ahead of time. I've not had any other players try to tell me whether or not I can take the loot or if they wanted/needed it. So how does this work?
