Optimal audio channels to record discrete audio in camera?
Post Body

Just curious to where everyone places their audio sources in camera for field shooting. Currently i have my two wireless TX packs come in on channel 1 & 2 and nats on channel 3 & 4 via the on camera shotgun. Last year I didn't use a wireless system so I placed nats on 1 & 2 from the shotgun and a wired stick mic on channel 3.

Wondering if mics on 1&2 and nats on 3&4 is the way to go for shooting sports; biking and running mostly. Also some YouTube work for a VERY small channel (not mine). I work alone so no option for a boom operator or audio mixer guy.
