OK, Here’s what’s going on. Does anyone have an angle on getting the client to commit as soon as possible..? A buddy of mine talked with a producer who wants to do a music video for about two hours, and he quoted for both he and myself (to shoot) with gear and the rate was fair. But a couple days after their talk, she messaged him and says how would you feel about editing as she still wanted him to be involved in this project as the director is bringing on a DP. He was pissed because he was not interested in editing. He felt like he wasted his time and was led along, for nothing. Does anyone have any tips for getting inquiring clients to commit and lock in a deposit so they are in essence “Stuck with you”? Thanks
