Sony AX700 is discontinued. What is the next best thing?

Trying to source a similar camcorder for up to £1700.
Am very familiar with Sony X70 and Z90. The z90 is a bit overkill for what the user of this camcorder will be doing specs-wise.
Will be very rudimentary interviews and cutaways recorded on the cam. Unlikely to have added lighting so something good in low light is priority.
