1500 - 3000€

Starting to film moving image content while shooting stills on fashion, advertising and editorial sets. Think of Mini-Reportage, Moving Portraits, Fashion Film

1 hour

What equipment do you already have?

I own a Fuji GFX 100II and a Fuji X100V

What software do you edit in?

DaVinci Resolve

I am an established Fashion and Documentary Photographer, wanting to dive more into moving image. I directed one fashion film (2 minutes, shot only on 16mm) and two fashion commercials (both 90 seconds, first shot on 16mm and Alexa, second shot exclusively on Alexa Mini). I would like an easy to use, handheld camera. It needs to be easily turned on without having to go through lots of settings, as I would love to be able to switch between stills and moving, especially on editorial assignments. Something that doesn't disrupt the flow when shooting. Something like a camcorder or a 16mm would be amazing. I don't need the best resolution as I can always rent or work with a DoP when shooting advertising. Thank you!
