In multiplayer games (like Back 4 Blood) or games where you pick the team (like Mass Effect) I have a friend that absolutely will pick the most 'dwarf' like character every single time and the biggest machine gun possible.

Another friend always wants a pet if possible, robot dog whatever just wants a pet.

Another that wants the shotgun above all else, followed by 'the funny guy' character.

I do not tend to have a strong preference or archetype I'm drawn too. So I'm curious, do you have a personality type/skillset/weapon you pretty much always want??

If so why and any suggestions for someone trying to find their new favorite type?
