This is related to a post I saw about game franchises that have gone downhill; how about game publishers?
For me it's rockstar. I remember a time when rockstar was like the Tarantino of gaming; it didn't matter the game, when you saw that name attached to the title, you knew it was gonna be good no matter what. I remember them having a variety in franchises as well. Yeah they had red dead revolver and the original GTA trilogy but also manhunt, bully, the warriors, smugglers run. Now, they've been banking on red dead and GTA online for 10 years and nothing else. I honestly think la noire was probably their last non GTA/red dead title and that was 2011
