Vic3 or Vic2?

I'm considering buying either one of the two, but am not sure which one to get.
Victoria 2 has a lot of content, and buying all of the expac's and base game is like 50$ but buying the newest Victoria 3 is like 50$ and doesn't come with any of the additional content.
I've played hundreds of hours of EU4 and Crusader Kings but have never played any of the Victoria's and don't know which one is better. Anyone got any suggestions on which one I should get?
