I was watching the new HBO Max documentary, Crazy, not Insane, and I was curious of how they created a certain shot.

Post Body

Hey all,

I'm new to this community, but I've been making films all my life. I always wanted to learn VFX, but never dedicated the time to it. Anyway, I'll keep it short. There's a shot that's in a lot of docs lately, where it pans through a book with highlighted text, usually as a narrator reads it. I'm not sure if you know what I'm talking about. If not, I can try to find a clip of what I'm talking about.

Thanks in advance, MJC
