Hi VFX community,
I am an amateur video editor, and I am creating an educational videos on Network Engineering concepts.
This is a sample video I have that is very similar style to what I am presently creating: https://youtu.be/rYodcvhh7b8?t=4m32s
For this next video, I need to highlight portions of the screen. For example, specific hosts, or routers, or packets, etc. But I don't know of a way to do so easily using my editing software (Hitfilm 4 Express).
Can anyone give me an idea or tutorial towards a simply way to bring the viewers attention to a specific place on the screen? Looking for something that wouldn't involve a tun of additional editing, etc.
Ideally it would be a composite shot I can quickly create, then drag to various points in the video where I want something highlighted. (knowing that they will be highlighted at different points throughout).
Thanks.
