I’m feeling really overwhelmed and stressed

I’m a freshman at Cornell University majoring in bio in the prevet track. So far, school has not been going well as I’m failing my tests in bio and calculus. I’ve heard it’s normal to feel overwhelmed but I’m really concerned how this is going to affect my GPA and my chances of admittance into vet school. Has anyone had the same struggles as I have?
