What does the path to vet medical school, look like, for someone with a BA in history+teaching
Post Body

I’m going to be graduating undergrad in FALL/Dec 2025, from Stony Brook University, in NY, with my BA in Africana Studies/History and my 7-12 social studies teaching certification. (At age 24) I will be a social studies teacher upon graduation.

However I would like to become a vet! What do I do if I don’t have any of the science courses necessary for the vet med school application? I’m going to be teaching in the meanwhile, but What should I do if I would like to become a vet before 30yo?

If there’s anyone who took a similar path (who didn’t do pre-vet/pre-med for the bachelors) please lmk what u advise.

Thank you.
