I am currently a second year at CSU and I am working on getting my gpa back up after my second semester (I had terrible roommate problems which affected my mental health and grades) I am starting to apply to different clinics in the area and getting my hours up. I am very involved on my campus and im hoping to get into either CSU or Davis for vet school. I was looking at Ross and other west coast schools because I wouldn’t want to go far and im more likely to get in. I plan to apply for a study abroad marine biology program for my senior year fall break and I am taking classes over summer until I graduate (I will be officially done summer of ‘26). I know Vet Schools look for GPA and experience but is there anything else I should focus on? And when it comes to retaking classes could I do that at a community college? Or would I need to do it at CSU so it’s on the transcript? I realize I don’t really know what im doing😅
I think im just scared because the reality of getting into vet school is getting to be more of a dream and not a reality. So any advice would help. Thank you!!
