Really need some advice
Post Body

I’m a new veterinary assistant I started about 3 months ago I love everything about it.I plan to go to veterinary school in the near future.Everything was going good at the hospital for about a month then the office manager out of no where starts being the biggest b to me me.I’m trying to learn I want to do more like the other assistants I ask and I get brushed off.The office manager was upfront one dog comes in for a walk in appointment the dogs face is swollen.I worried about anaphylaxis and I asked I think this dog needs to see a doctor now.She yells at me for rushing the doctor and the techs turns out the dog was having anaphylaxis.I can’t go on and on with examples.I don’t get to help at all I will maybe restrain one dog a day they use me as a maid.I could go on and on with examples but I feel trapped it took me months to get a position it was really hard for me and I worry about not finding another. The whole staff avoids to use me for help I know it’s a lot to ask for but I just want to work at a animal hospital with no toxicity.Do I just quit and try to find another position or work here so I can’t get experience and deal with it.
