11 year old German shepherd with bad hip

I have an 11 year old shepherd with a bad hip. He's still gets around and plays probably once a day but has slowed way down over the last few months. Anything I can do to help stabilize or strength his hip? I have him on hip supplements, he's ideal weight already. He still does stairs and on his good days gets on and off the couch. Just trying to help him be more mobile.
