Hematoma on dogs ear

I have a quick question my dog has a hematoma on her left ear she was given cream to put in her ear on 5/22 for 14 days last days for the cream was 6/4 her surgery is set up for 7/16 my question is her hematoma is starting to absorb and get small is she still able to get the surgery done if it’s starting to absorb
