Advice on wound care

So my dog got fleas a couple weeks ago and they are gone at this point (although I’m still spraying and stuff). My dog itched her cheek raw and there is a crusted large wound. I put some Neosporin on it after reading online if that was generally okay and wrapped it but I’m worried she will rip it off soon. Should I leave it alone or continue to apply treatments and wrap her head up?

That’s awful 😢 I’m so sorry and hope you’re dog is doing better. It does look a lot better thankfully and I’m still keeping an eye on it.

Oh okay 😞 I’ve been giving her antihistamines for dogs as well. I will probably call and ask my vet about the cost of medicine; I just figured it was a wound. Thank you so much for the help.

I don’t have the money at the moment due to the amount it spent to treat the fleas plus the insane costs of other medications she’s on.
