I was big into altcoins in 2017/2018 and then sort of lost track of most of them over the last few years but the recent boom made me dig into my old wallets and exchange accounts to see what I have left.

Back in the day I did most of my VTC trading on Poloniex but at some point I decided to move the majority of my VTC to Bittrex where I can still access it today.

The rest of my VTC is still in Poloniex and until this month I haven't logged into that site in probably 4 years.... so I was bummed to find they stopped allowing US-based accounts a while ago.

Has anyone else dealt with trying to get VTC back from Polo?

I mean, it isn't a life-changing amount of money or anything but it would still be nice to have it back.

UPDATE: so it turns out that polo liquidated all the crypto in all USA accounts shortly after they shut down services for the USA so that means my VTC (and whatever else) has been sitting there as USDC... which sucks because they did this at the end of 2019
