Just finished the original run, what should I expect for the rest?

So Veronica Mars is one of those shows that was on my radar because it sounded like it was right up my alley. Funnily enough, I discovered it when the movie came out. I finished the original run and really loved it. I'm afraid the movie/season 4 might not live up and I just want to know how tempered my expectations should be.
