Wondering if anyone lives in Jeffersonville and has any insight on what thatโs like? Iโm from central VT and considering a move there based on a really nice apartment I found. Going to go visit but also looking for other peoples experiences! Thanks :)
Caveat, I don't live in Jeff, but I spend a lot of time there, and have squatted with friends who live there during some gaps I had between housings.
It's a great little town, very much fueled by skiers and general visitors to smuggs. The closest 'real' grocery stores are in Morrisville or Essex Junction, so about 30 mins each way.
Martell's and Robbie's are great, if you like local's bars. Lot 6 and to a lesser extent the Tavern are a bit more touristy. Everything closes early. But you have gas and a liquor store right on you front steps.
If you're cool with living in a ski town (a large proportion of residents work at, or used to work at the mountain), it's a great spot.
We agreed to disagree, since I'd have physically been able to feel my braincells leaving the building had I continued the discussion. Once rhombuses entered the chat I knew it wasn't going to get better.

The first time I went there I got into a legitimate argument with someone over whether a rectangle is a parallelogram. There were diagrams being drawn in the sand out back. I've fucking loved that place ever since.
