Outdoor worms survived the arctic weather
Post Body

This year winter hit hard and early, before I had the chance to shift the outdoor worms into their winter bin of shredded leaves with a heating cable. After eight weeks of below freezing temperatures (including a week-long stretch of temperatures between -14F and 18F), it has finally gotten above freezing again. Yesterday, I dug through the snow to check on the worms. Much to my (happy) shock, the little monsters are still alive. Nature is amazing!
