Recently I was doing some research on where to preorder the iPhone 12 Mini when it becomes available, and as a military member, there are some services available that’s not seen every day for civilians. I noticed that if you go through the Exchange Mobile Center website, one of the military shopping sites, you can purchase a phone from Verizon using a 2YR contract (that makes it three options for buying a phone rather than the two you usually see today). It’s the first time I have noticed that option since they technically removed it a few years back for most of the public. To make sure it works and it wasn’t just a gimmick, I played around with the system and was able to get to the cart successfully using a regular iPhone 12 as a reference. In other words, what are your opinions behind the two-year contract? I would like to do it, but I’m on the fence. Are there also hidden fees I do not see either? Yes, I know you’ll be locked onto Verizon for that period & I don’t upgrade my phone every year (currently still using an iPhone 6s Plus as I write this). Should I bite the bullet or avoid it? Any suggestions or valuable information are appreciated.
