New to FIOS question about using own router

Just had FIOS installed: 1 dvr box and gigabit internet. They installed a G3100 router, I told the tech that I wanted to use my AMPLIFI router instead. The tech disabled the Wifi on the G3100 and told me to just connect my router from the back of the G3100.
I just connect my router and I don’t get any speed faster than 55mbps on any device. I tested with my Surface Pro(2017), iPhone 11 Pro Max, and Xbox One.
Anything I should know or that I can configure to get thing working faster?
