So I just bought a new phone yesterday... this is my first time going out and buying a phone on my own, so I was confused to begin with. I was upgrading from a Galaxy S4 to an S6 Edge Plus on the More Everything Plan.
So the employee started talking about the screen protector, case, charger, and "fourth option" (either speakers, a headset, or a Fitbit). I didn't want to pay anything extra, so I asked, "Is this all extra or does it come with the phone?" He said it came with it... which did seem too good to be true. Then I find that I was charged for everything, but that there was a $30 discount. It pretty much seems like I was forced into this (that or misunderstood)... do you need to do the bundle to get the $25 credit for the More Everything Plan when you upgrade?
Also, I got an email with my device plan changes and noticed "TOTAL MOBILE PROTECT ANDRD $11" as an addition. Apparently this is an insurance/extended warranty. I wasn't even asked about this. Is this non-optional?
I intend to go in after work to clear things up, but just figured I'd run my thoughts by here first. Thanks in advance!
