I need to preface by saying we struggle with mental health.

My mum and I have always clashed about ALOT of things. As most people are aware shit went down with the royal family. I’m Scottish and don’t really care about them but this just proves how hypocritical she is. Obviously there is a lot of hate being thrown towards Megan Markle, I’m not a fan of hers but I also don’t absolutely hate her. She recently mentioned that she was suicidal and I have a lot of respect for people who are open about there mental health. Now answer me this if you don’t mind; How can you say that you are all for the mental health movement, but when a woman goes on an interview and admits she was suicidal you can turn around and say she’s lying? How can you try and argue to someone that a person being bullied by the media like Caroline flack, who never deserved what happen to her and I will never let that go, was a tragedy but Megan deserves it? How can you look the daughter that comes to you when they are suicidal and invalidate another persons feeling when you are a. Not then or b. Not in there position.

TL;dr : my mum thinks it’s okay to invalidate someone who has had suicidal thought, to her daughter who also has suicidal thoughts but and not expect her to go off and argue that she’s hypocritical.
