In a group of people today i was with, i addressed myself as "old". When i was done talking, someone chimed in and said " youre not old" youve got a long life ahead of you! Now this was a zoom meeting and ive never met this person before. FYI im 49.

I thought about this after the meeting and said to myself. What is old? I believe this to be a term of inner reflection and not a direct relation to the year you were born.

People of all ages die from everyday acurrances. I take heart attack for instance, or heart failure. You can have any person in the world NOT dependant on race, creed, or color and say " oh they died of a bad heart. This person could be Black, White, Asian, European, Hispanic, south american, anyone. And the corener lists cause of death of natural causes/ old age. Whether he is 27, 38, 45, 60 or 102 years old.

What is old age base on? I beileve old age is based on youre own personal life. Not the number you are from the date you were born!

Who really knows what you're body, mind, soul has gone though while you were here on earth. Age is a relative question and should not be determined by the year you were born. Age is when youre particilar human body is done putting up with what you are dealing with.

I am not saying this because i am done with my life yet, but that i realalize that numerical age means nothing. Its life age that depends when you will die.

I just felt like writing this down for myself more than anything. Everyday you are tested, tried, pushed, and then go and "de-escalate" from that particular day, you have no idea how many days you took off your own life by dealing with outside occurances.

I would like people who are unaware or oblivious to thisnto think really think about what can happen in 1 week, 1 day, 1 hour, 1 minute and say "STOP" its not worth losing one minute of my short life over this.

I feel that "I am old" no explanation no history. Is it my right to say i am "old"
