I'm a guy. A straight guy, A nerdy guy, A horny guy. If you're a guy I'm sure you can relate to at LEAST the horny part if you're young like me.

My issue is that I'm frustrated with modern dating and I want to quit it, but I just have such high sexual energy that always brings me back to searching and even lowering my standards to a point a normally wouldn't be comfortable with. And I also don't like dating for the goal of sex. It makes me feel like a scumbag and I'm just not happy with it.

I've tried "No fap" too because it apparently helps, but what I've noticed is I go a bit, but then I can't get past the two week point and I eventually binge watch adult videos or engage in otherwise promiscuous behavior.

I want a better solution, so I'm considering just giving in and saving for a good sex toy to satisfy my urges. Maybe this isn't a good solution, but it's a solution that I think I could genuinely manage that might help a bit.
