Steps at DMV… moving from another State
Post Body

I’ve moved to Las Vegas from another state, and have a DMV appointment for later this week to do a new drivers license and vehicle registrations.

I have all of the needed documents printed out: registrations, proof of insurance, proof of residency, but it’s not entirely clear whether there’s other things I need to do prior to the appointment, or if they take care of it at the appointment.

My cars are both a couple of years old, do they need a smog test in advance? Do I need to do the Vin inspection before I go to the appointment? Is there anything else I’m supposed to do before I show up at my appointment time? Thanks for the help…
