So weds night metro came knocking on my door asking questions about if I knew who owned the house next to me and wondering if I had seen the squatters in question. I’m oblivious that anyone moved out but once he pointed it out I realized the neighbors cars have been gone for weeks. I also realize I’ve heard and smelled the barbecue Nextdoor. Well next day squatters are back so I call 311 and an officer eventually calls back and says without an owner of the house calling they can’t do anything. So I called my mom who’s a real estate agent and she found the property management company, I’ve called them and left a message explaining the situation. No call back and definitely nothing with metro as they haven’t been back. Well today I hear the guy trying to pry the sliding door open and just pacing in an erratic manner and I don’t know what to do. Metro has stated they can’t do anything and the property management company probably doesn’t care because they can make an insurance claim
