Looking at a projected $275 bill for this month for a 1200 sqft apartment near UNLV.
I work from home and keep the apartment at 68 degrees as I have a health condition that is exacerbated by heat.
ETA: To answer your questions, the AC doesn't constantly run even when I have it set at 68. I'm just commenting that this is the highest I've seen my projected bill. I was just wondering if anyone with a similarly sized space was getting price gouged as well.
ETA 2: I see I'm getting downvoted/called entitled, but I never said I should get special treatment. I was only asking how people are faring with their energy bills considering we just had the hottest June on record and July is shaping up to be another hot one. I have epilepsy and I was unaware that heat was a trigger until after I moved here, which is why I kept my AC at 68 upon my neurologist telling me that.
