Is driving on Blue Diamond generally safe?

Thinking about moving to southwest, is defensive driving on Blue Diamond possible especially at night? What particularly notable intersections should one look out for? If not possible I will just drive local.

The lane markers on the I15 southbounnd merging to southbound Blue Diamond (two lanes) is a bit ambiguous and should be repainted, added to the fact that there is a little bit of curvature.

The right most lane of I15 SB merging to SB Blue Diamond actually goes into a truck stop. Any interesting information on this particular truck stop?
