NV energy rebates for insulation. Any traps to avoid?
Post Body

I'm currently in the process of getting my house sealed and insulated up to R-49 (there is basically NONE in most of my attic).

NV energy has a rebate program that they will offer a credit for .25/sqft so long it meets this and it was previously less than R-20.

Other than before/after photos are there any gotchas? I recently did a grass abatement and had to add a special filter for it to qualify for the water district rebate.

While we are at it has anyone done a radiant barrier in their home? It would add $2k to my project. Duct sealing/insulation has been discussed as well.

Thanks
