for the love of god please stop relying on the few electrify americas and tesla superchargers. if you can’t charge at home, do NOT get an ev!!! this is why so many dealerships like carmax are full of ev’s. people buy them thinking they can just go to public chargers.

i had to stop at one of the few electrify americas in town in the middle of the night and it was PACKED with people waiting for chargers. (the only reason i had to stop was because i’m moving out of town. my electrician is going to my new house this weekend to install a level 2 but until then i only have a level 1 at home.)

also, charging past 80% is wasting your time and everyone elses time. when your car is at 80% the charging time dramatically drops off. i just waited for a supercharger for an hour after these people were already at 77% when i pulled in.

and it’s weird to look at other peoples screens!!! i don’t go to other peoples gas pumps to see how much they pay for gas. i charge for free at electrify america because of a deal through ford. it’s none of your business why my screen says $0 and yours says $22.
