Looking for input from HR or managers in the food/hospitality industry.
Post Body

I am wondering if employers in Nevada accept a “Food Handlers Card” or only the “Southern Nevada Health District Food Handlers Card”.

Servsafe website allows individuals to pass an online exam and get a 3 year credential, which it appears is the standard in many states.

SNHD is currently accepting same day appointments only which doesn’t work for the population I work with.

Do employers care?

I read the NRS and it says nothing about “only accepting SNHD”

Thank you.
