Ghost town…

I realize that I arrived on an early Monday morning, but it’s so desolate near the Sahara! I walked for ever trying to find food, ended up with a 7-11 salad. Everything was closed! Even the fast food places said 24h (I’m now realizing they meant the drive thru) and the doors were locked. I ended up on the back end of the Sahara and there was literally not one person. Do things pick up during the day? I’m on a solo trip and am nervous that I’m too far away from the fun stuff.
