Hello everyone,
My gf and I are going to be spending 5 days in Vegas from Monday (August 24) until Friday morning (August 28) to celebrate our anniversary (27) and I was wondering if there were any specific things to look out for. I already bookmarked Tix4Tonight (we went to the last minute deal stands the last time we went) and will be checking it every day.
We are both 25 and we went to Vegas last summer - we mostly drank, ate, gambled, and went clubbing. We saw the Mentalist (pretty good) and Penn & Teller (amazing). My gf has seen many different shows, as she has gone on vacation there with her family often. We did not visit Old Vegas (we did go to the outlets), but my friend suggested we go there and try the cheap Oxtail soup.
The last time we went, we bought groceries and alcohol from Walgreens, usually purchased the $50 buffet voucher (4 meals at any of the main hotel buffets), and really managed our money well. We went with two of my gf's friends, so we were always able to get into clubs for free, and they usually got free alcohol until x deals; I would predrink with Zombies while gambling (while the girls got ready for the night). This time, it is just my gf and me.
We like the sun and spent a lot of time in the Flamingo pool (we are staying there again this time). I purchased tickets to Dada Life @ the Wet Republic, but that is the only event I have pre-purchased so far. We love to eat and watch shows. I was hoping there would be a masquerade-style event, but it seems like there is only one major one in September.
Any ideas and suggestions are welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for your time.
Cheers,
DJSF =)
