Now on the r/vegaslocals subreddit I read that Green Day singer Billy Joe Armstrong had called Vegas in his words a “shithole”.

now from reading about the poor educational system and supposedly the highest car insurance rate in the country which is pretty wild to me.

one would say he wasn’t lying and there’s plenty of other things that’s going on that only locals would know about.

now I’m a non-Vegas resident but I wouldn’t mind moving out there at some point because living in Illinois ain’t it for me anymore. but when you factor in what I just mentioned previously I’ve to ask what can be done so others who are visiting Vegas don’t have the same opinion.

If Vegas wants to go from a “diet LA” without the state income tax of course then things definitely has to change and it starts from the top but rather or not those at the top far as local officials and etc will want to make those necessary changes to the city is anyone’s guess.
