Hi, I'm going to be in Vegas for a few days and after several months of being a caretaker to an elderly mom and a little puppy I really just want to sit in a dark movie theater without worrying about anything. It probably sounds stupid to do that in Vegas but I've been before and I know I will tire of the usual mayhem after a day or two. I'm plan to go to the movie solo and I'm staying at Caesar's. Where I live there are good, bad, gross, and dangerous theaters so I'm hoping for some suggestions. I don't really care about Imax or 3D. Thank you!

My favorite place to see a movie is Sunset Station - their theater is never packed, it is relaxing, and easy to get to. My second favorite is the theater at Green Valley Ranch Casino, just off of I-215, so about 20 minutes from Caesar's. The closest theater to Caesar's is the AMC at Town Square (South End of the Strip). It's a 10 minute Uber ride. Less comfortable, stadium seating, but has 18 screens with a lot of movies showing. It's also a pleasant area to walk around and site see/people watch, and there are some great eateries there.
