Hey all,
I was just wondering if this "stack" is possible? but first just a bit of background:
I'm a 21yo vegan male who needs to gain weight (BMI 16) - I know, the stereotype - and have been trialing keto for the last week after a 48h fast to reset/normalise my appetite and eating behaviours after a period of restrict/binge/"compensate". I've also chosen to pair this with OMAD because it makes meal-planning physically and psychologically easier and it gives me a whole lot more time to attend to the rest of life. Most days I eat a variation (ie. swap olive oil for coconut milk) of the same meal which you can see pictured below:
So far I seem to be experiencing the touted cognitive and physical benefits of keto and OMAD when I do actually eat enough calories for the day but I always feel so exhausted after eating (not a problem if I can nap). I have to say it's fixed late night binge-eating on carbs and whatnot though!
My question is, is there a way to do vegan, keto and OMAD using only whole-foods? while also trying to gain weight (keeping in mind I do calisthenic exercise daily). I ask purely to try and maintain a food philosophy that I have and I do have some doubts about what feels like overconsumption of processed foods like tofu and oils. And the soymilk is a bit funny sometimes.
Thank you so much for reading all of this and any advice you can offer!
