So I put half the recommended amount of electrolytes powder (nuun tablets) in the water I drink through the day. I find my energy levels are better my mind is clearer and more alert and I have more endurance and strength in workouts and running.
If I don't drink the electrolytes I can feel it almost right away. I have to make sure to being them if I travel etc.
I am 58, pretty healthy, and fairly active. Been vegan for about 8 years.
Is there any problem being "addicted" to electrolytes this way?
My diet seems really good with lots of seeds nuts greens legumes grains fruits veggies... I sometimes have a hard time getting enough calories for my activity level but usually address that right away (maybe the electrolytes help with that?).
Any issues here or just keep drinking electrolytes if I want to?
