Remorseful mod here,
Yesterday I got into an argument with a u/CHN-F about rule #2:
---
This is an anarchist space.
VCJC opposes nation-states, hierarchies, and capitalism.
We do not tolerate members who support racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, fatphobia, casteism, or any other form of social stratification.
---
Now personally, I'm against hierarchies in general, I view them as a building block of our ills. That's just like my opinion though, and it's only my opinion that changed the rule to begin with.
Because I made the distinction about VCJ / VCJC's side on the left, we have some longtime communist members who feel left out.
Instead of me digging my heels in about my distrust of communists, or changing the rules unilaterally again, I welcome you all to provide feedback on how you want this rule to be worded. Should we restore official leftist unity?
Btw, I admit my comment suggesting wanting hierarchies is a sexual kink was inappropriate. Sorry about that :/. It was funny to me in the moment.
