Is it just me who thinks people who kick dogs are kind of less empathetic?

Post Body
Don't get me wrong, people who kick dogs are also empathetic, but I don't understand how someone calling themselves empathetic would kick dogs.
When I'm with friends or other people, they think it's good that I don't kick dogs, but they're like “but I just need to kick dogs, y'know?” like it's some kind of fucking product without feeling.
