Update: A lot of folks are recommending oat milk, which I havenโt tried. Would oat milk on top of oatmeal be too many oats?
I use non-diary milk on oatmeal and bran flakes. My live-in boyfriend uses unsweetened soy, so that would be the easiest, but I prefer the flavor of sweetened almond milk. Soy has more protein, but I get plenty of protein from other sources. Should I go with the unsweetened soy for the health benefits, the sweetened almond milk because I like it, or do you have another suggestion for oatmeal and bran flakes?
I prefer coconut, almonds take a ton of water to grow.
