My body for some reason cannot tolerate anything with pea protein in it (but as far as I know I am not allergic to legumes?) so I am looking for a protein powder that does not have pea protein and is still covered by food stamps because I am broke as a joke.
I found the NOW foods sports nutrition soy protein isolate unflavored powder on Amazon and it looks ok nutrition wise, it’s just soy protein, no carbs or extra crap in it. I don’t like flavors or fillers in my protein powder.
I’m just wondering if anyone has had this (or any other protein powder that is pea protein free that you can purchase with food stamps) and likes it?
I am struggling to hit my protein goals and I find shakes really easy to make the mark by adding in a good fruit & veggie mix in the mornings. That being said, if anyone has some good smoothie/shake recipes they like, please let me know!
Thanks in advance :)
